in utero fascism

i simply hope that i can provide solace for those whose hands i've touched, palm to palm in a non-erotic kiss. the branches on this tree are bent and twisted but not yet broken but I've already cut some branches off. This blog has moved, facebook removed and msn I've begun to sign on less and less frequently. I don't know what I hope to achieve - to fade out into a washed out facade of some naive obscurity? I've been so used to these models of compliancy that could be so easily moulded like play-doh. It feels invigorating to be working with a pliable yet dynamically independent medium. But, like all things worth cultivating, this work requires the utmost patience. i think above all i just need to recede back into quiet self-evaluation. the illusion of invincibility has been frought with dire consequences. i hold no particular resentment save for ideological attitudes held by the greater majority in which I cannot change overnight. change is only sparked by the catharsis of self-realization - liberation.

anyways, i think rocco siffredi (aka the king of butt sex) has tiny balls. furthermore, i can't stand the gap between his teeth - for some reason i bet he smells like sweaty fish and rancid cheese 24/7.

I love those messages

Does anyone know how to stencil? I want to start leaving my tags around the city. Furthermore, does anyone have any good recommendations for short multi-day hiking trips? The goal for now is to ultimately accomplish the west coast trail but I neither have the experience nor the gear to do it. Anyone interested in joining/training with me?

look at the monster you make

[currently listening to: Cinematic Orchestra & Roots Manuva - All things to All Men]

A huge weight was lifted from me on thursday. 1 year exactly to the type of closure that I was seeking for - a sort of compromising closure I guess. On the whole, it means nothing - perhaps it just feels reassuring to see it on a piece of paper in front of me. Fodder for the pigs if you will.

of shit piss cum and blood

man, I don't think I've been more drunk than last night based off hazy recollections of my angry drunken tirades about bullshit. Simon's ignition wouldn't start so we ended up having to take my car to go to Shahdin's... holy crap - driving from West Van to Coquitlam in the pouring pouring rain was really silly. Shahdin's party was really fun, her house was huge and everyone was dressed to the nines. Despite the fact that almost everyone there attends or graduated from SFU, I honestly have to say that I really enjoy the company of an older crowd. Towards the end, I had no clue how much vodka or red wine I had - I think too much, lol. That's when I started rambling on and on about ridiculousness. Didn't get that much sleep because Simon needed to be dropped off at school so he and his classmates could ferry over to Saturna Island for the weekend. Later on in the morning, I dropped by the dealership in north van to see what the eff is wrong with Simon's car - it got towed there in the middle of the night. Most likely the ignition unit needs to be replaced. Cars are shit, really. Waking up not entirely sober is shit as well.

Anyways, I have to go pick up my sister - she's back after a weeklong trip to Ottawa to learn about communications and journalism.

everything - everything hurts all over
again and again
breathing is too heavy for these brittle bones,
this phantom pain -
my crotch is bruised, my breasts are mangled
the foreign epithelials, still dry in my mouth.
fuck you! FUCK YOU!

croak voice broke

swimmer bodies are really awkward.
My sister's in ottawa right now and I finally got to visit my aunt from the uk who's come to visit for a bit. I'm really jealous of how england, new zealand and australia are able to organize post-secondary in the sense that it's so flexible to work-study-explore so freely. My cousin and her bf have been everywhere it seems - though I guess it's reflected in the nature of their studies in adventure tourism after their bachelors. But holey moley are the pictures gorgeous.

In other news, I'm still sick. The fever's gone so my fears of a returning kidney infection has disappeared. Midterm tomorrow. Sleep time, g'nite.

The Clothesline Project

The Clothesline Project was set up by SASC during Antiviolence week in the SUB main concourse to feature clotheslines of shirts made by survivors of violence or sexual violence - their partners, family members, friends people like you. I took a bunch of quick snapshots of some of the shirts that we had set up - in a way it was so ominous to read the messages and voices from anonymous people and how they have been impacted by violence. That anonymous person may just as well be the ever so normal person sitting next to you. Stop by to express yourself on a shirt for next year, we'll definately display it! Any thoughts about this project? Feel free to leave a comment.

cows CAN die from too much gas

I hate being censored to this point and I hope in time I can take off the stupid login feature. Yes, I'm still alive and yes my pockets are empty again - I spent too much money on sangria and strippers during the weekend when I should've been studying. Ah well, gotta have fun every now and then. 'Twas nice to see Caitlin and James again. I still fail at making nice looking omlettes - mostly in part due to lack of a proper non-stick pan. However, I think I did a nice job making a kick ass swiss cheese-vermicelli-roast beef omlette today during the power outage.
------------------------------

I think I've changed. This isn't some hokey "loss of innocence" bullshit. My parents have always been an overbearing factor in my life... they believe that if they spend enough time on me (the first child), that less time will have to be spent looking after my younger siblings because they latently observe and learn from an older model. It's true to some respect but parenting is difficult, especially when factoring in all the cultural aspects into contemporary Canadian times.

blah blah blah - I had more to say but I've forgotten.

Ann Coulter and Tucker Carlson on Canada

And people seriously believe this stuff? I know this is old news but it's always a good chuckle. lol, dogsledding... say what? I don't know how anyone can take Ann Coulter seriously... for instance:

On Environmentalism:
"The ethic of conservation is the explicit abnegation of man's dominion over the Earth. The lower species are here for our use. God said so: Go forth, be fruitful, multiply, and rape the planet--it's yours. That's our job: drilling, mining and stripping. Sweaters are the anti-Biblical view. Big gas-guzzling cars with phones and CD players and wet bars -- that's the Biblical view."

On women:
"It would be a much better country if women did not vote. That is simply a fact. In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 - except Goldwater in '64 - the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted."

On airport security:
"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."

Old news I know. It just gets me upset how this woman still gets any credibility despite being able to openly address other people she doesn't like all these slanderous names: "faggot", "raghead", "gayboy"

way to go >: (

can you relate?

[currently listening to: primus - my name is mud]
