Ann Coulter and Tucker Carlson on Canada

And people seriously believe this stuff? I know this is old news but it's always a good chuckle. lol, dogsledding... say what? I don't know how anyone can take Ann Coulter seriously... for instance:

On Environmentalism:
"The ethic of conservation is the explicit abnegation of man's dominion over the Earth. The lower species are here for our use. God said so: Go forth, be fruitful, multiply, and rape the planet--it's yours. That's our job: drilling, mining and stripping. Sweaters are the anti-Biblical view. Big gas-guzzling cars with phones and CD players and wet bars -- that's the Biblical view."

On women:
"It would be a much better country if women did not vote. That is simply a fact. In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 - except Goldwater in '64 - the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted."

On airport security:
"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."

Old news I know. It just gets me upset how this woman still gets any credibility despite being able to openly address other people she doesn't like all these slanderous names: "faggot", "raghead", "gayboy"

way to go >: (

It's on Fox News. Dick Cheney watches Fox News. Fox News is like...the epitome of absurd, biased, deranged interpretation of world events.

If it's on Fox News, I refuse to acknowledge it's existence until something like NPR or CNN validate its existence. That goes for both them yahoos, too.

Yeah, what a biatch.

However, I have no doubt in my mind that she's actually just saying these things to get her moment in the spotlight. She definitely generates a buzz, and the shit she says is very quote worthy. Therefore, what she says doesn't really bother me. It more makes me laugh.

The people that piss me off are the people who spout this kind of shit, but actually BELIEVE it.

What amazes me is the whole slough of people who are ready to defend and believe what these people have to say when everything that is being said seems to go against common sense. When I was searching for the vids on youtube, I couldn't believe how many people fervently protected Bill O'Reilly or Ann Coulter.

And regarding Fox News, lol - I don't understand how they can regard themselves as a legitimate news station. They recognize how Jon Stewart and Stephan Colbert are threats watched by "lazy stoners" and have even coughed up their own "fake news" called The 1/2 Hour News Hour on sunday evenings as a rebuttal. The main reason? To poke fun at the left because apparently, all satirical comedy out there ONLY grossly misrepresents George W. and Dick Cheney. However, I must disgress - Fox News is putting themselves against a freaking comedy network... what does that say about their news agency? Perhaps the reason why so much focus is put onto Dick and Bush is because they have fucked up and ARE leaders of a huge country. Furthermore, the Colbert Report and The Daily Show does poke fun at BOTH sides while actually being funny - they provoke thought through irony and point out hypocrisy. What does that say about news agencies when more and more people are tuning in to Comedy Central for an hour of political satire that might actually be more balanced and trustworthy than freaking FOX NEWS?

And lastly, why all the hate for the french? Oh right, everything I have to say is illegitimate because not only am I Canadian, I'm just some gay loving, hippy woman of colour.

*vent vent*
