Today I saw monsieur mathematique for presumably the last time, perhaps ever. He's off to do three years of service for the Canadian forces as a front line medical officer - 6 months of training in Pakistan and the rest to be served in Iraq. I think for him... it will be a step in the right direction. Despite having the capabilities of flourishing in any Ivy League school to pursue dreams of research, I think his goals are personal.

So today, I took him out for lunch and then he bought a bunch of lego and maple syrup... like a lot of it. Ah well. Sadly enough, Yukina is being shipped off to Tokyo - I'm going to miss the white beast.
