I think now of Plato's "Allegory of the cave". I've been looking at these flickering shadows juxtaposed against the cave wall for a long time. Today, I was able to see the reality of the things which have cast those shadows.... but dare I look at the sun and be blinded by its light? Or should I re-enter deeper into the recesses of the cave knowing what I have seen?
