disconnection with the worldly i presume.
the new year was rung with little trepidation
lacklustre air and stale tension wire.
a belly full of pate and gasoline, plastic corked bubbly
even the crowds were confused, unhappy, but it matters little.
a tiny spark, a quaint smile. ignition.
the hum of a bumble bee in my bloodstream
and i'm on my toes. fly! take flight,
i'm fuelled by the sheer humanity, rife in the innocent.
