i knew, from your lips that you were not for me. i still remember that moment, as you spoke her name, 3 syllables long - you were delicately practicing, caressing each letter, which comfortably rolled off your tongue. i knew, from your lips that you were not for me because saying my name only made you cry.

I went to go visit Caitlin yesterday with a small crowd at her apartment and rented Shortbus after Royce's ravings about it. I can see how this movie would be controversial as it's so damn explicit - (ie. the movie starts off with spooging all over the face from an auto-fellatio scene amongst other explicit scenes of non-faked sex). Aside from that, I felt that the movie was not smutty at all, but rather really loving and tender. One of the main characters is Sook yin lee... she used to be a muchmusic vj and it's so weird to see her playing an acting role. I used to love her show "r u receiving" - the program that played all the weird ass music that I love now today. Overall, I highly recommend this movie for anyone who enjoys indie-type films. I don't think it's a shock movie at all, just a really tender movie about relationships, self-identity and achieving orgasms. wooo :)
(ps - most of the dudes in the movie all have insanely huge peen peens if that's any incentive to watch it)

I <3 <3 <3 this oldschool italian espresso maker... IT BREWS BLACK GOLD!! (grazie simon mio! <3)
Dinner tonight consisted of way way overpriced Indian-Pakistani fusion food so I'm still left hungry for more food. I'm reluctant to make a huge ass bowl of ramen and egg at this hour. I guess I'll wait the few hours for some quality toast and yogurt in the morning.
I brought my siblings to Granville Island yesterday which was their first time really and I spent waaaaay too much on miscelleneous stuff (ie. beaaaads, art supplies, food and PAPER). However, it is nice to splurge a little on fresh produce, sausage and herbs. I ended up making my rendition of lebanese falafels for dinner. Next time I'm going to try making an embryo salad (I have a feeling it's going to a potluck staple).
I'm thinking of buying a $40 Diva Cup for periods instead of using traditional tampons and pads (I spend hella more than that in a year for these danged cycles). It's made out of silicone, re-usable, environmentally friendly, etc. But I'm reluctant to try it because: the whole process looks darn messy (not to mention the possibility of gross slurping noises pulling the thing out in washrooms), the collected "necrotic material" has to be dumped out and washed in the sink (once again a problem in public washrooms), and finally... the thing looks HUGE.
i do not remember the entrance, just the red-scape blur of some foreign smell and a strange touch. his voice echoed in an obscure tongue which matched the black and white sheets that wrapped my legs. i did not want to be enthralled, no. just fulfill unwritten duties in my pocketbook and sing like a mute. the men i've met and the vessels filled, a tale of sordid savagery. we came palm to palm in an emotionless yawn and yet, i do not remember the entrance, just the red-scape blur of some forei...
